CIS developed AgriMaps as an easy-to-use mapping program for use by farmers, agents and companies alike. While it has been geared toward farming and the crop insurance industry, AgriMaps can be used by others who simply need to produce geo-referenced maps. Use it to map tile lines and utilities!
FEATURES:
* Allows user to clean up or edit data before import
* Import objects individually or in a batch
* Assign the same objects to multiple clients
* User defined templates to record information about the object while still in the field
* User defined picklists to reduce typing and avoid erroneous data collection
* User defined crops, practices, and/or types and their associated colors/shading
* Splitting of polygons/fields with a line. This feature allows a very efficient method to map fields with common/adjoining boundaries, especially fields with complex contour strips. No other mapping program has this feature!
* User defined print layouts
* Layer in base data such as roads, rivers, sections/township/county boundaries, and aerial satellite imagery.
* User selection of which fields to print. Partially viewed fields can be deleted from the print layout and those acres will not be included in the legend.
